Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations for Joint Reconstruction. In this role, the manager will lead work to optimize the business of joint reconstruction for JNJ MedTech in region through sales support and commercial execution activities. In addition, this role will be a key driver of commercial strategy at the local level for the AVP, local sales leaders, and marketing. This includes responsibility for aligning to the business strategies in their geography in partnership with sales leadership and internal business partners. The goal for each region will be to drive to a working regional P&L view to ensure data driven decisions are transparent to all stakeholders.

Business Planning & Reporting
- Support AVP for commercial Business Planning for their geography leveraging consistent business planning processes and tools, to include segmentation, targeting, account planning and forecasting
- Ensure coordination of required corporate assets using the One Funnel structure
- Scorecard reviews for region to be provided to all using the One Funnel structure
- Proactively drive data-driven account target identification with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and supporting internal functions using available analytics tools
- Ensure customer facing QBRs are in place for all customers eligible for contract compliance discussions
Data-Driven Decision-Making
- Support one funnel process and required analytics leveraging digital tools and providing feedback on accountability loop to all participants
- Shape development of new capabilities in CRM, analytics, and other digital tools
Asset Deployment & Optimization
- Lead regular (e.g. BiWeekly) opportunity / pipeline reviews with Sales Leadership (VP, AVP, RM, and ESA Level Reviews) using a consistent methodology focusing on next actions
- Track progress against pipeline, identify and break down roadblocks with internal stakeholders, and collaborate with sales management to understand and address reasons for variance
- Lead development of Area implementation plans, activities, and next steps required to close key opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, CommOps, Prof Ed, Demand Planning, SCG, and others to drive execution
- Lead asset allocation to align resources with the greatest customer opportunities, including NPI roll-out processes
- Responsible for execution of in geography Tier 2/3 meetings, to include insuring that the JNJ MedTech Team is showing up in a cohesive & constructive manner
Communications & Change Engagement
- Serve as power users of and lead sales training for CRM and other commercial enablement tools
- Identify change champions to drive adoption of commercial capabilities, including digital tools, and drive best practices
- Communicate and reinforce critical messages about DPS, BU, and Area-level strategic priorities / must-do's
Qualifications
- A minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent is required; Business/Marketing/Finance degree preferred.
- MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience is required.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in healthcare / medical device marketing, sales, finance, or other commercial experience is required.
- Orthopedic experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership capability through influencing, including the ability to lead and manage through change is required.
- Track record of success working within a matrixed organizational environment; enterprise mindset decision-making is preferred.
- Excellent understanding of customers, business intelligence and industry trends is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and project management along with is preferred.
- Strong business & financial acumen in understanding the needs and priorities of the broader business with a penchant for understanding the use of metrics/numbers to gauge overall performance is preferred.
- Excellent listening, written, and oral communications skills; excellent organizational skills along with the ability to make sales presentations with positive results is required.
- Ability to manage stakeholders, which includes communicating, influencing, and providing comprehensive solutions is required.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills, including the ability to design, structure, and lead projects is required.
- Ability to travel required (~40-50%)
