We are searching for the best talent for Senior Manager IT Software (1 of 2) to be in Brasil, Colombia or Prague.

Purpose:

The Senior Manager, Procurement IT Software Category will be responsible for driving the IT Software category which manages over $750M in spend annually. This portfolio of spend is of variable complexity in nature and requires comprehensive and consistent collaboration with key business partners within the Johnson & Johnson Technology organizations, as well as with additional stakeholders across the Johnson & Johnson Enterprise.

This individual will identify, develop and direct the implementation of Procurement goals and strategy; plan and direct the organization's activities; and deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, and service and compliance adherence.

The successful candidate will provide Global leadership in end-to-end category management including category strategy development, execution of critical business engagements, maintaining key relationships within the business, and managing key supplier relationships.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identify, develop and execute Procurement category strategies that are aligned with the business/sector needs, are based on subject matter expertise and industry/market dynamics, and deliver the maximum value for J&J.
  • Develop and manage deep supplier relationships with strategic IT Software suppliers to include spend and cost analysis, performance management and development, improvement of end-to-end value, and bringing innovation to the business. Ensure alignment of J&J's objectives are met, including quality, reliability, innovation and cost.
  • Execute sourcing events, negotiations and contracting per category strategy and Procurement's stage gate framework.
  • Support collaborative initiatives with the business that require Procurement expertise or engagement.
  • Deliver on financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments for the business.
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout J&J that results in dynamic interactive dialogue on a broad range of perspectives and information critical to the development of optimal approaches and solutions. Understand long range requirements of the business partners and engage in strategic planning and partnering to ensure alignment.
  • Manage & prioritize Procurement leadership identified initiatives.
  • Support and escalate issues that may impact the organization, including but not limited to supplier disruptions.


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of Procurement or IT related experience.
  • Fluent English level
  • Strong level of proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g., Supplier Management and Performance, Supply Market Analysis, Category Management, Procurement Excellence, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing, collaboration and talent development skills.
  • Customer Orientation (building and maintaining strong relationships with J&J senior management).
  • Able to dynamically prioritize requests and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when necessary.
  • Ability to show strategic thinking and strong project management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% is required.

Preferred:

  • MBA, JD, Master's Degree, Ph.D., etc. Preferred Area of Study: Business, Law, Life Sciences, Finance, Math or related field(s).
  • Comprehensive expertise covering one or more of the following supplier domains: Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, Conferencing and Collaboration technologies, Mobile device technologies, Personal Computers, Digitization, IT Consulting and Help Desk services.
  • Strong level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community.
  • Strong influencing skills with ability to see issues from multiple viewpoints and understand differing needs of stakeholders (e.g., Businesses, Technology, Procurement, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain).
