The Digital Identification & Traceability (DI&T) team is an enterprise group within the Global Trade Controls function, part of Johnson & Johnson Technical Operations & Risk. We provide end-to-end digital capabilities to enable connectivity across our supply chain in a compliant, effective, and efficient way. The DI&T team is responsible for bridging the physical product to our digital supply chain, delivering value by developing and leveraging our digital capabilities to engage with our customers, while shaping internal and external environments with our expertise. We work closely with different functions across Johnson & Johnson globally to enhance our customer experience.
Reporting to the Director of DI&T, the Senior Manager leads the product ownership and deployment teams supporting DI&T platforms and products including Serialization & Traceability, Unique Device Identification, Global Data Synchronization, GS1 Standards and Digital Product Solutions. The Sr Manager works closely with stakeholders to determine strategy, scope and priority for new implementations, Phase 1, base business support and associated work for acquisitions and divestitures driving collaboration with operations teams and business leaders to ensure ownership for execution and compliance. The Sr Manager drives global standards adoption and ensures alignment with country-specific requirements to lead end-to-end execution of DI&T enterprise platforms and programs, focusing on strategy and planning within allocated budget and timelines. The Sr Manager collaborates across both the Innovative Medicine and MedTech sectors, coordinating multiple functions including Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Quality, IT, Data, Regulatory Affairs and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own product lifecycle management, including scoping for new implementations (Phase 0), enhancements to existing products, and large complex projects such as acquisitions / divestitures.
- Collaborate with sector teams, Quality and other stakeholders to leverage use of industry standards for product identification and traceability, including data and formal enterprise standards, and ensure standards are updated to align with the latest regulations
- Influence industry, standards organizations and regulators through leadership positions and participation in industry groups, presentations, and white papers.
- Troubleshoot system operations with user community
- Lead projects to timely delivery and within budget while coordinating tasks across functions and geographies
- Create and maintain comprehensive metrics to track and resolve issues and communicate timelines effectively
- Ensure GxP compliance for DI&T system platforms to our internal quality requirements including SOP's, education, testing, change control, and training.
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's or University degree is required; advanced degree preferred.
Required:
- 10+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated success leading large, global projects that include a significant technology component.
- Strong understanding of life sciences industry and supply chain processes with 8+ years working in a regulated environment including development and maintenance of GxP system platforms.
- Five years of people leadership is preferred, but two years is required.
- Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation)
- Strong leadership experience and effective influencing and collaboration skills
- Must possess ability to develop relationships and encourage confidence and trust from internal and external partners at all levels.
- Understanding of Serialization & Traceability regulations is preferred
Other:
- May require up to 20% of domestic & international travel.
- Ability to adjust work hours to meet needs of global teams.
- This position has an estimated annual salary of 137,000- 235,750 USD$
