Johnson & Johnson Foundations and Impact Ventures are managed by the Global Health Equity (GHE) organization, which is part of Global Corporate Affairs (GCA). The Global Heath Equity team is a dedicated corporate function with its purpose being to support and champion front line health care workers and the communities in which they serve. GHE operates its social impact activities through a network of charitable foundations.
In this Senior Financial Analyst role, you will support these independent non-profit foundations: Johnson & Johnson Patient Assistance Foundation, Johnson & Johnson Foundation U.S. and Johnson & Johnson Foundation Scotland. The Senior Financial Analyst, will have primary responsibility for Finance activities in support of the US Foundations, including support of key business partners within the GHE organization. This includes, but is not limited to, financial planning and reporting and establishing and monitoring financial controls. In addition, this role will be responsible for portfolio management activities in support of Impact Ventures, which is funded out of the US foundation.
Responsibilities:
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, including financial monitoring and analysis of operating costs. This includes support of full P&L and Balance Sheet for both US Non-profit Foundations.
• Support Finance Manager in development of Foundation budget and long-term operating plan
• Support technology solutions for streamlined and standardized analysis and reporting for US Foundations to maintain financials in NetSuite ERP and other tools.
• Ensure compliance with all non-profit reporting requirements (i.e. Legal, Tax, HCC) and act as the primary liaison with the external auditors
• Engage with external partners and internal SME's including tax, legal and treasury
• Finance liaison with GHE team, including partnership in developing policies and procedures, and granting
• Assist with Cash Flow analysis and support Cash Investment processes
• Provide financial leadership to GHE teams and the Foundation
• Provide portfolio management support to the Impact Ventures Fund including but not limited to investment data collection, fund reporting and analysis, and long-range financial planning modeling
Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance
• An MBA and/or CPA, CMA or other advanced certifications are preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of accounting and finance experience is required
• Must possess excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong collaborator and validated business partner with ability to influence all levels of the organization is required
• Experienced professional with strong communication skills who can interact with senior management is required
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to recommend and implement operational improvements is required
• This position will require up to 10% travel
The anticipated base pay range for this position is 77000 to 124200.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
