Rate of Pay: $125,000 - $150,000

Job Duties: Provide technical support in the design, installation, testing, and start-up for a variety of industrial control systems used in Ethicon Surgical Products. Design, develop and assemble electrical or electrical-mechanical modules for system. Research products and devices from conceptual concepts, and design, develop, and test the electrical/electronic aspects of processing equipment according to established policies, procedures, government regulations, and customer requirements. Generate conceptual designs and determine feasibility of the designs. Build prototypes, working with the lab to develop test fixtures of conceptual designs. Document specifications and material requirements on all designs. Troubleshoot advanced malfunctions and other unusual problems. Ensure adherence to established project schedules and priorities. Assist others to ensure schedules and priorities are met. Follow up and support complex electrical and electronic designs in research and development, manufacturing, and the field. Lead in the compliance and safety testing of various electrical systems for regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Electrical Design Engineer-related occupation.

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
