We Are Looking For

You will report directly to the Vision, Global Deliver Leader and must be based in or willing to relocate to Jacksonville, Florida.

This Senior Director provides strategic direction, leadership, and performance management across the Americas Deliver Functions covering Vision Care & Surgical Vision platforms. Directs the organization's Customer Service, Distribution, and Transportation activities including management of 3PL support for Deliver. Maintains all budgetary, compliance and works hand in hand with our E2E functions to ensure the health and safety of the Vision network in region. This role orchestrates regional Deliver LT at a regular cadence, connects into both the E2E Regional Supply Chain & Global Vision Deliver LT representing Vision Deliver Americas. The position manages for performance and unlocking value through network, product flows, cost to serve, customer experience metrics. This role oversees the Deliver activities across both North America & South American markets.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

• Significant engagement into the Commercial leadership structures representing Deliver.

• Manage for performance, e.g., catalyze OTIF-D, Answer Rate & Cost Targets

• Support Business Planning (DELIVER SG&A & COGS)

• Accountability in embedding DELIVER in the IBP processes and regional STEM

• Feed Customer Insights into E2E SC solution building

• Executing Customer Logistics Capabilities

• 3PL partner management

• Portfolio management for Americas Vision franchise

• Accountable for Customer Service Americas Vision Care & Surgical Vision franchises

• Ensure flawless NPIs within region

• Drive large scale Americas programs (Network Optimization, EU MDR, Digital Transformation)

• Operational Orchestration, e.g., lead time visibility E2E

• Orchestrate Segment Deliver team within Deliver Operations to manage for performance and outcome metrics

• Ensure Deliver integrates into existing E2E business processes.

• Bring functional business insights and analytics from Deliver to the E2E segment SC

• Lead and develop an organization across Analytics and E2E Integrator functions, by empowering high performing team to engage in E2E collaboration and solutions with key stakeholders.

• Identify and champion a talent development strategy (JJSC People Strategy) for high potential and high performing talent for the segment

• Engage both with internal & external sources to drive continuous improvement for the organization and benchmarks

• Drive a culture of Safety & Compliance

Qualifications

Required

• Education: Bachelors or equivalent

• 8+ years Leadership experience

• 5+ years Distribution, Transportation, or similar operations experience.

• 3+ years customer service experience

• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal abilities

• 3+ years of Project management

• Experience in a manufacturing leadership role at a site level and proven capabilities in getting results and meeting goals

• Multiple Site or Functional Site experience or Above site Experience

• Demonstrate an understanding of the business and commercial priorities

• Proven record of responsibility for a regional role in a critical function such as quality, operations, engineering, product support

• Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate others toward a common goal or vision, particularly when leading through other leaders

• Proven experience in managing against a budget and making decisions that draw upon effective business and financial acumen

• Skills demonstrated in influencing across the matrix and negotiating in situations without positional authority

• Previous portfolio management experience that requires prioritizing projects effectively to deliver on broader business objectives

• History of translating broader strategy into operational execution

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), ISO, FDA and/or other regulatory requirements

• Record of success in healthcare or medical devices

• Fluent English speaker, writer, and reader

• 10-20% percent travel domestically and internationally

Preferred

• Advanced degree i.e., MBA, PHD, or equivalent

• Work with a planning organization or having planning experience

• Experience in a manufacturing leadership role at a site level and proven capabilities in getting results and meeting goals

• Experience and exposure to external stakeholders (regulatory agencies, community relationships) with the ability to align, leverage, collaborate and influence

• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards across North America, Canada, and South America

• Process excellence/Six Sigma, LEAN manufacturing, JJPS experience

• Exposure to multiple business models/environments/segments such as cross sector experience

• Exposure to major turnaround, transformation, downturns, shutdowns, or challenge, driving change management efforts throughout an organization

• Experience across Cost, Commercial, R&D, Customer Service, Systems Process operations, design, and implementation

• Superior Financial Acumen

• International, cross functional business operations

• Have worked across (plan, make, deliver) in a supply chain role

• Multilingual in two or more of the following: English, Spanish, French, or Portuguese

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $163000 to $282900.

• The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year.
