The Sales & Access Specialist will support the implementation of the Hospitals approach, contacting and building effective business plans for particular clients. Also, will be responsible for the implementation of new projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a positive relationship with customers
  • Serve multiple large and/or key hospital accounts in a prescribed territory
  • Make regular visits to customer locations to collect information on orders and market conditions.
  • Prepare sales reports and documents, as the need
  • Help establish and implement efficient, results based, and authoritatively handled programs and innovative initiatives for the Clinical Sales - Hospital/Hospital Systems area, under general supervision.
  • Pricing, reimbursement, and outcomes research, technology research, and medical affairs to coordinate and develop real-world results in support of health access programs
  • Supply to fewer components of projects, programs, or processes for the area
  • Perform simple trend analyses to support continuous improvement efforts for the organization's strategic partnerships and alliances strategy.
  • Proposes opportunities to build integration partnerships, channel partnerships, and strategic alliances within emerging markets and companies.
  • Mentor more junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities
  • The role will require that 60% or more of the work time be spent in the field


Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; MBA or advanced degree in related field is preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • At least 2 years of work experience
  • Ability to navigate and discuss complex clinical data
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish languages and have excellent oral, written skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong collaboration and time management skills

Preferred:

  • Understanding of Hospital reimbursement
  • Experience implementing projects

Other:

  • Must have Valid Driver's License in Puerto Rico
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, which may include overnight, and weekend travel is required
