The Reverse Distribution (RD) Co-Op is responsible for supporting the Reverse Distribution team and helping improve RD processes and procedures. The RD Co-Op will rely heavily on the functional tools of Excel using V-Lookups, Pivot-Tables, Formulas, and Macros to manipulate raw data in order to create detailed reports that describe, advance, and support J&J's businesses on a wide scale. The RD Co-Op will work to identify business process improvements and complete projects to implement them as standard business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- The RD Co-Op will be responsible for finding opportunities for more efficient returns processes through data and analytics. The RD Co-Op will be responsible for running and analyzing reports using data extracted from SAP as well as our supplier's portals. The RD Co-Op will analyze these reports and look for opportunities to reduce costs, increase compliance, and improve the returns process for customers.
- The RD Co-Op will identify and lead at least one high impact project using LEAN/Six Sigma methodology that will improve Pharmaceutical Returns processes.
- This role will also include project leadership based on 2025 RD strategic objectives and various process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Legally/permanently authorized to work in the US with no required sponsorships
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College program throughout the duration of the internship
- BA/BS in progress
- Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or Business major
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Creative and strategic mindset
- Development-focused with a willingness to network and engage in ongoing career conversations
- Advanced in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly learn new systems & applications
- Available to work between the hours of 8 AM-5 PM EST without course conflicts
- Ability to report to Somerset and/or Titusville at least 3 days/week with remote work 2 days/week (Must be on-site at FDC in Somerset on Wednesdays)
Preferred:
- Experience in Power BI and/or Tableau
- Previous Co-Op and/or Internship experience
Other:
- Proficient in English
