The Project Manager, Deliver New Product Introduction (NPI) will report to the Director, NPI Strategy and Execution, the position will be accountable for leading, and driving key foundational and groundbreaking New Product Introductions within J&J IMSC Deliver, that are linked to the J&J IM business priorities, with the goal of enhancing operational capabilities, improving partner engagement strategies, driving end-to-end Supply Chain integration, and enabling our customer promise.

This role will manage a strategic portfolio of critical new product introductions supporting the J&J IMSC Deliver business and priority programs. These programs include but are not limited to: New Item Introductions and Capabilities (including gene and cell therapies and other innovative modalities in the therapeutic areas we serve), Acquisitions and Divestitures, and Product Strategy Roadmaps.

This position will work closely with regional deliver team members, Value Chain Management, and Supply Chain Development to be accountable for all identified outcomes and long-term business objectives for the program(s) under their responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and partner with Regional Deliver, Value Chain, and cross-functional teams to plan, scope and identify requirements and capabilities required for existing and new launches.
  • Drive detailed project execution by ensuring milestone schedule / stage gates, final project objectives (FPOs) and scope are agreed upon during formal Project Kick Off and maintained during project execution
  • Lead and launch team members to achieve desired outcomes
  • Identify short and long-range investment requirements for key NPI launches / projects
  • Recognize risk and opportunities within programs being led
  • Identify project interdependencies
  • Lead governance, communication, and reporting across partners and stakeholders
  • Identify industry-leading practices and perform external benchmarking as required
  • Support the intake processes across workstreams for their respective region and/or global process
  • Provide launch insights to leadership to craft future state strategies
  • Orchestrate corresponding program/project budgets and resources
  • Represent Deliver during exploration, due diligence, and execution phases of acquisition/divestiture initiatives, as needed, and accountable for integrating and aligning outcomes with the broader supply chain and commercial teams


Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred

Required:

  • A minimum of 6 years of related Supply Chain experience is required. Experience in 2 or more relevant core areas within Deliver is preferred: Customer Service, Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing, Global Trade Compliance, Channel Management
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to lead and influence others
  • Ability to navigate in an ambiguous environment, work independently, handle complexity and take ownership for deliverables
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to drive process improvement and value creation across the business
  • Ability to identify risk and costs required
  • Experience with project management required and product introduction preferred

Preferred:

  • Relevant mix of global, regional, cross-sector / cross-industry experience
  • Understanding of supply chain interdependencies (end to end)
  • Experience with running complex programs and/or product launches with proven successful delivery
  • Experience defining and deploying global strategies and practices
  • FPX certification

Other:

  • This position may require up to 20% domestic and international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,200.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
