The Product Director will oversee the development and implementation of market access strategies supporting TAR. In this role you will shape market access strategies across channels to drive access, affordability, and persistency for [brand] patients, as well as drive field execution of market access messaging. The Product Director will work closely with multiple functions including Strategic Customer Group (SCG), Government Affairs, Policy and Advocacy, Franchise Marketing, Sales, Sales training, Business Analytics, Medical Affairs, RWV&E, R&D, and outside vendors to effectively execute key commercial activities.
Position Description:
- Leads development of comprehensive marketing plans, including strategy, positioning, and messaging, to achieve business goals
- Ensures strategies, marketing assets and tactical plans are developed and performed in close partnership with: Global Commercial Strategy Organization, Sales, Sales Learning & Development, Medical Affairs, and key internal partners
- Develop content with learning and development team for sales meetings and ongoing field development to support brand strategies
- Lead advisory boards, analytics, and market research to generate insights for marketing initiatives in partnership with the insights and analytics team
- Pull through of field facing strategies and tactics
- Partnering with Patient Advocacy Groups to explain the potential benefits TAR brings the community
- Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively
Qualifications
Requirements:
- A minimum Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or advanced degree in related field is helpful.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience, including pharmaceutical and healthcare knowledge
- A minimum 5 years' experience in Sales, Marketing, Managed Care Account Management, Pricing and/or related fields
- Proven proficiencies in marketing, project management, and clear communication.
- Ability to travel up to 20%, which may include overnight and weekend travel.
Preferred:
- People leadership experience
- Experience in oncology
- Previous experience in Market Access and or Field Experience as it relates to Contracting (exp UBAM, KAM, etc.)
- Experience with product launch
