Key Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for healthcare professional promotions and marketing strategy for macitentan-containing products. It will play a lead role in driving the growth of OPSYNVI® while also helping to prepare for upcoming lifecycle events for current and future products. Strategic thinking, the ability to orchestrate across many stakeholder groups, and a strong executional focus will be pivotal qualities for this role.

• Lead professional promotion tactics and messaging for OPSYNVI® as well as non-personal promotion tactics as required

• Manage submissions of promotional materials for internal review

• Collaborate with field sales leaders and brand liaisons to drive strategically aligned executional focus and continually monitor for opportunities to improve marketing materials/messages

• Partner with Commercial Excellence (CE) to develop/execute market research plans and identify/track key performance metrics for promotions

• Collaborate with Sales Learning & Development to plan and execute POA meetings and develop new hire curricula.

• Support developmental of speaker program content and post-clinical messaging/materials as required

• Compliantly engage with medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and evidence generation teams to prepare for label updates and assess future opportunities for CFL promotions

• Contribute to strategic planning activities for key lifecycle events, including launch preparations for a future macitentan formulation

• Support/lead annual business planning and budget management processes as required

• Contribute to a culture of candor, teamwork, and trust, as part of a diverse and inclusive team

Qualifications

Education:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • MBA or other related advanced degree preferred

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of commercial business experience
  • Minimum 2 years of HCP marketing experience in pharmaceuticals or biologics
  • Proven success in driving achievement of key business objectives through executional focus with customer-facing teams
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with an ability to create messaging and tactics that influence customer decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders/teams and influence without direct authority
  • Must be proactive and capable of operating without specific direction while managing multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience leading multiple agencies/vendors, budgets, and complex projects across functions, geographies, and various levels of leadership
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, standard practices, and regulatory environment

Preferred Experiences:

  • Pharmaceutical sales and/or sales leadership experience
  • Previous launch planning experience
  • Previous customer experience with Cardiology, Pulmonology, or rare disease healthcare providers

• This position will require up to 30% travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

    • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
    • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
