Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate on cross-functional teams concentrating on the improvement of existing processes.
  • Lead on the purchase of new capital equipment.
  • Lead with the investigation of customer complaints and product non-conformances.
  • Provide Manufacturing Engineering support to Operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all FDA, ISO, quality, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Initiate and lead Lean process and product improvement projects.
  • Participate on project teams to in-load or transfer products by reviewing designs for manufacturability, procuring capital, defining tooling requirements and developing manufacturing processes with project team members.
  • Coordinate development and validation activities for manufacturing processes.
  • Develop manufacturing specifications, bills, routes and travelers in support of new and existing products.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have the ability to function in a team-based manufacturing environment
  • The ability to collaborate with all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment
  • Experience in a Clean Room environment is preferred
  • Experience in a Medical Device and/or regulated work environment is preferred
  • Process validation experience is preferred
  • Experience with packaging operations is preferred
  • Experience with Passivation and Clean Line processes is preferred
  • Experience with Non Conformances, CAPAs, Audits is preferred
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis tools (e.g. Minitab) is preferred
  • Project management experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Process Excellence/Six Sigma tools and methodologies is preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $63,000 to $102,350.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

• Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

• Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

• Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year

• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
