  • Is responsible for the adjustments/setup of the manufacturing equipment and their corresponding documentation.
  • Provides support to manufacturing for the timely repair of equipment and machinery.
  • Performs corrective and emergency nonplanned maintenance activities according to the approved methods and documentation.
  • Participates in the transfer of new production lines.
  • Provides recommendations and technical support in new projects and OAC.
  • Complies with all the safety policies of the company and other safety precautions within the work area.
  • Complies with all the safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensures the compliance with the responsibilities of the Environment Management Systems (EMS).
  • Follows the Convenient Information Retention Administration Policies of J&J and of the Campus, record retention program, training and education, Document Retention Notices, Record cleanup, inactive records and Information Management, Vital Records, and if applicable, to suppliers.
  • Other responsibilities can be assigned and not all the responsibilities listed here must be assigned.
  • Has completed the environment and safety training, appropriate for his/her discipline.
  • Is responsible for ensuring the compliance, personal and of the company, with the federal, state and local policies and procedures corresponding to the areas of Health, Safety and Environment.
  • Enters his/her daily tasks in eCMMS or in the system assigned for that purpose.
  • Responsible for the management of the CMMS MAXIMO maintenance system for Juarez, in regards of the maintenance planning tasks.
  • Provides support in the resolution of problems related to the execution of the work orders process for maintenance within the CMMS or MAXIMO system or other types of mobile devices.
  • Provides support for the change of assignment or reestablishment of a user of a password for Maximo.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management levels.
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.


Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION


  • Technical career or equivalent, applicable to: Mechanics, Electric, Electro-mechanics, Electronics, Metrology, instrumentalist.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience and/or related training preferably. Knowledge and skills to satisfactorily develop the responsibilities of the position.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS*

  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation preferably in the medical industry.
  • Wide knowledge of computer packages.
  • Bilingual, Spanish/English, preferably.
  • Knowledge of the Campus Systems, preferably.
  • Knowledge of Maximo System (Computerized System for the Management of Maintenance), preferably.
  • Knowledge of the GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices )/ISO preferably.
  • Knowledge of emergency and corrective, nonplanned maintenance, calibrations procedures documentation and quality systems, preferably.

Additional Information:

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $40,000 to $56,000.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. •

    • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
    • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
