Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for an Immunology Medical Affairs Clinical Project Scientist (CPS) intern located in Horsham, PA. This position will be part of the Program and Alliance Management and Clinical Operations Teams with Immunology Medical Affairs.

The Clinical Project Scientist (CPS) Intern will support Investigator Initiated and Collaborative Studies, working closely with the Clinical Project Scientists (CPS), Therapy Area (TA) Lead, Medical Directors, Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team, and Medical Affairs Delivery Unit (MA DU). The intern may support company sponsored trials and post marketing commitment studies, including both interventional and registry studies for an assigned therapeutic area (TA) under the direction of the CPS.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with US Immunology (IMM) Medical Affairs Staff supporting ongoing projects
- Assist with activities and projects within US IMM Medical Affairs
- Participate in ongoing team meetings
- Be exposed to various functions within the larger Immunology Medical Affairs/Research & Development/Commercial organizations
Qualifications
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
- Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., Biochemistry/Biology/Chemistry) or graduate study in PharmD, PhD, MPH or other master's program in a science-related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0
- Availability to work 40 hours per week during standard business hours (8am-5pm)
- Completed two or three years of college coursework
- Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (with a high proficiency with generating tables and graphs), and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical competencies in SharePoint and other information technology systems
- Academic and/or industrial clinical trial experience
- Participation in campus/community service activities
