Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting for a Materials Replenishment Planner, located in Warsaw, IN or Raynham, MA!
A Materials Replenishment Planner will be responsible for procuring raw and packaging materials by converting the output of the ERP detailed schedule into daily/weekly materials requirements. The MRP planner will ensure availability of the right quantity of components to the production lines when needed; communicating the plan to the different suppliers within the agreed lead times. Optimizing the flow of materials, while considering plan warehouse capacity and inventory targets, eliminating potential disruptions in the storage area, minimizing both storage cost and potential SLOB will also be key to this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review purchase requisitions and delivery schedule lines including exceptions for 1st cut MRP
- Liaise with suppliers to clarify potential plan constraints and collaborate between supplier and the key internal partners
- Integrate feedback to generate 2nd cut MRP
- Finalize MRP and confirm quantities and dates, ensuring that all material delivery schedules are communicated to the suppliers on time in order to meet plan requirements
- Communicate/handover plan to MAKE for execution
- Handle potential abrupt deviations to the plan, assessing with the suppliers the feasibility of the changes and rapidly highlight to the affected internal partners
- Provide material supplier input to the S&OP process to allow for clarity of risks and opportunities
- Liaise with warehouse staff to understand and adhere to space constraints, maintaining inventory levels within agreed targets
- Collaborate with quality assurance and warehouse staff regarding rejected/defective materials, making the physical arrangements with the supplier to ensure timely return of goods to disposal
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of supply chain experience is required
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience is required
- Experience with an ERP system (SAP/APO/SNP/etc.) is required
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills- ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of data and convert to clear business information
- Ability to make decisions based on data and business insights
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, considering wide-ranging perspective and styles
- Ability to target their communication as appropriate for the audience and make presentations to a small-medium sized audience
Preferred:
- Planning or manufacturing experience in a medical/Pharmaceutical or Consumer industry
- Ability to apply project and personal leadership to successfully achieve project, team and individual goals
- Ability to influence others in a matrix environment
- Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to identify if refinements would enhance results and productivity or quality and/or ability to work with continuous improvement tools

- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and or internationally may be required
- Supply Chain Certification (APICS/IBF/etc.) is preferred
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is 63000 to 102350.
- The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
