We are seeking a Technology Product Owner, Scientific Exchange in the Medical Affairs Product Group. The person in this role will engage with Scientific Affairs business team to shape and advance digital capabilities targeted for Health Care Providers and Patients via JanssenScience.com, a website for scientific knowledge exchange. In doing so, the Product Manager will oversee an ecosystem of capabilities spanning digital, channels, content management, data & analytics, and integrations to ensure scientific exchange processes meet business objectives and will work with partner Product Groups to fulfill the needs of scientific exchange processes The responsibility will also include business relationship management, building technology capability roadmap, demand prioritization, and budget management for the overall product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own product backlog, prioritize features and enhancements based on business team's inputs and market trends.
  • Collaborate and act as the key liaison between multi-functional teams.
  • Develop clear and detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria which reflect end-user needs and business objectives.
  • Act as a key liaison between the technical team and business partners, ensuring alignment and understanding of product goals and timelines.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to develop product strategies and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Be a technology leader, working with business partners and SMEs to identify unmet needs, shape business demand, and propose new solutions.
  • Partner with business leadership to understand business drivers, future direction, and set priorities.
  • Manage a team of direct and indirect reports.
  • Apply compliance requirements and participate in compliance activities as required.
  • Lead successful delivery of final objectives and ensure overall goals are achieved within budget.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least seven (7) years of relevant IT and business technology experience is required.
  • Experience implementing or supporting Digital technologies such as Sitecore or similar web development platform is required.
  • Ability to monitor and analyze website performance using analytics tools and providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Coordinate user experience (UX) design and improvements to enhance user satisfaction and platform adoption.
  • Proven project management experience with delivering medium- to large-scale projects in managed service model from concept through delivery and operations.
  • Ability to think creatively about where business initiatives drive technology evolution and to break-down processes and reimagine enabling technology capabilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong negotiating/influencing skills and willing to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and operate with poise and professionalism in a complex, high-profile, and constantly evolving environment is required.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle Management.

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of technology products like Veeva Vault.
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques.
  • Navigate web analytics tools like Google Analytics for Data and site analytics.
  • People management experience (direct or indirect)
  • Experience with pharmaceutical industry and deep understanding of regulatory requirements and its operating environment.
  • Certifications in Business Analysis, Project Management, and/or Agile methodology.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,200.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
