We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Manager of Strategic IDNs to lead Monarch's growth within key Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) across the U.S. This role will focus on deepening relationships, driving incremental system sales, enhancing utilization, and positioning Monarch for success with current and future innovations.
As the Manager of Strategic IDNs, you will collaborate with senior leaders, clinical champions, and decision-makers across some of the largest IDNs in the country. Your ability to navigate complex organizations and create customized strategies will be key to driving adoption and long-term partnerships within these critical accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand Monarch's footprint within targeted IDNs to drive deeper selling into existing accounts, focusing on system utilization, cross-hospital adoption, and incremental system sales.
- Cultivate multi-level relationships within IDNs, from corporate decision-makers to on-the-ground clinical champions.
- Partner with the Director of Strategic Accounts to develop tailored strategies for IDN accounts that align with organizational priorities and ensure alignment across departments (e.g., pulmonology, thoracic surgery, oncology) to maximize Monarch's value proposition.
- Work closely with field sales, marketing, and clinical support teams to implement account strategies effectively as well as coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and ongoing support for IDNs.
- Prepare IDN accounts for the introduction of new Monarch innovations and technologies and drive early adoption and integration of new products within IDN purchasing and clinical workflows.
- Provide accurate forecasting and regular updates on account performance, opportunities, and challenges and meet or exceed sales targets, utilization goals, and account penetration objectives.
- Represent Monarch as a trusted partner to IDNs by attending industry events, participating in thought leadership initiatives, and fostering collaboration on clinical studies and pilot programs.
- Leverage insights from IDNs to inform corporate strategy and product development.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device sales, healthcare capital equipment, or strategic account management.
• Proven success in navigating and driving growth within large, complex IDN accounts.
• Deep understanding of the dynamics and decision-making processes within IDNs.
• Experience working in a highly matrixed environment and influencing across multiple cross-functional stakeholder groups with an enterprise mindset
• Self-starter with a growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred skills and Experience:
• Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills with senior-level executives in IDNs.
• Strong strategic planning, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a consultative selling approach.
Other:
• This role may require up to 60% travel domestically
• The anticipated base salary range for this role is $111,000 to $179,400
• For candidates based out of the Bay Area, CA the anticipated base salary range is $128,000 to $206,310.
• The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
• This position is eligible for a company car through the Company's FLEET program.
