The Manager, Market Access and Trade Analytics is responsible for being a trusted advisor across the StAT (Strategy, Analytics and Transformation), Strategic Customer Group, and Finance teams. They will be focusing on Trade and Downstream analytics as they relate to customer and brand strategies and tactics for all JnJ Innovative Medicine NA pharma brands. This position plays a leading role in advising and counseling management in the development and evaluation of new and existing business strategies and as a result, shares accountability for business results.

The manager will be familiar with trade aspects of the pharmaceutical business including applicable data sets.

Duties:

Lead cross functional projects from planning and design to turning insights into strategy with business partners. Focus on key business questions and frame business opportunities into project and analytics plans. Guide launch planning and execution as it relates to Trade analytics. Influence business partners at all levels to incorporate insights into decision making. Advise cross-functional teams on Trade related inquiries and projects by helping determine optimal data sources, analytic approaches, and statistical methods, identify appropriate supplier partners, foster strong partnerships in the context of resources, timing, and overall project goals.

  • Provide deep account-level insights partnering with Trade and Brand Analytics teams by crafting and evaluating performance of access strategies by delivering analytics and insights.
  • Inform 340B analytics and monitoring processes including recommendations to SCG Contracting for identifying points of care with high levels of risk potential.
  • Advance strategic capabilities in Analytics, Data, AI, and Technology to uncover insights.
  • Drive insight and efficiency through automation of reporting, forecasting and other processes
  • Complete Downstream Inventory forecasts to provide insight across JnJ IM portfolio and aid accuracy in the forecast process.
  • Continue to increase connection of wholesale and downstream inventory tracking to ensure to total pipeline views are considered across a variety of business functions.
  • Lead and manage automated dashboards for Trade to enable single source-of-truth reporting, improve self-serve capabilities, and streamline ad-hoc analyses. Seek continual improvements and dashboard enhancements
  • Keep abreast of emerging healthcare & pharmaceutical industry trends and assess their potential impact on our franchise business strategies.


Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

  • MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics
  • Forecasting Experience
  • Expertise in trade dynamics as related to the pharmaceuticals business
  • Expertise in domain specific data sets of pharma and specialty pharmacy data sources
  • Experience working with 852/ 867, and prescription / claims data sources (e.g. IQVIA, SHS)

This position is based in Titusville, NJ and will require up to 10% domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 99,000 to 170,200.

  • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
