Position Overview:

The Manager, Commercial Strategy & Insights role will be responsible for supporting commercial sales execution, providing insights, and driving transformative changes within our key channels, including Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Academic Medical Centers. The individual should possess a combination of strategic thinking, commercial sales acumen, and analytical expertise to help US DePuy Synthes achieve its commercial goals. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Commercial Strategy & Insights and work very closely with the Selling, Marketing, and ASC Organizations of DePuy Synthes.

Responsibilities:

• Act as key strategic business partner for ASC and AMC leadership

• Use the latest analytical models and tools including Data Discovery solutions, Dashboarding Suites, and statistical techniques to provide continuous updates and insights at all levels of the organization in the form of standard reports, scorecards, and ad hoc analysis

• Support workshops to identify and implement business acceleration initiatives

• Build and maintain Tableau-based dashboards for analysis of platform metrics including back-end data management and consolidation as needed

• Provide PMO support for strategic initiatives

• Break down opportunities into clear actionable insights, translating strategy to action for US leadership

• Provide insights and project management of cross-functional stakeholders for key initiatives, including: go-to-market strategy, targeting & execution, forecasting & business planning

• Create standard tools for key insights and custom dashboards for pulling ASC & AMC strategies through to execution

• Drive Sales Funnel Maximization and growth focus across key Channels

• Support ad hoc initiatives through project management, market analysis, stakeholder management, etc.

• Apply a strategic approach to measure dashboard utilization and adoption, elevating user engagement across the commercial sales organization

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Healthcare or a related industry is required

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in strategy or analytics is preferred.

• Previous ownership of developing and delivering commercial strategies is preferred

• Demonstrated leadership capability including the ability to lead and manage through change is preferred.

• Strong business & financial acumen in understanding the needs and priorities of the broader business with a penchant for understanding the use of metrics/numbers to gauge overall performance is preferred.

• High level of exposure/experience interacting with Excel and PowerPoint

• Tableau Dashboard creation experience required.

• Proven expertise in one or more data systems - Alteryx or Tableau is required.

• Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Proven ability to synthesize data, interpret data, and process observations into meaningful recommendations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to reconcile external and internal data sources.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively is required

• Ability to prioritize and to successfully manage multiple projects/priorities is required

• Experience of leading and delivering data engineering/analytics projects is required

• Up to 20% travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $170,200. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
