As Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM) and the Data and Analytics Centre - Canada (DAC) move into a future of Augmented (Artificial) Intelligence "AI" - there is a significant increase in the demand for leadership aligned to this initiative. This leadership role will be a blend of AI strategy supporting the pillars of Financial Forecasting, Omnichannel analytics, strong statistical acumen and solid understanding of coding to support these initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

  • AI Strategy - Act as subject matter expert for AI to AI Governance and Director(s) of DAC and Digital Engagement Center (DEC)
  • Coding - AI / ML - Hands on Keyboard (HOK) - Building and Testing AI-ML Models
  • Build and Maintain AI infrastructure (ie AWS Redshift or Similar environment)
  • Financial Forecasting - Building and Testing Statistical "Driverless" Models
  • AI - Supporting Omni Channel Analytics - Building and Testing AI-ML Models


Qualifications

  • Undergraduate/Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences, Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or other related field, is required. Additional advanced education (Masters, Professional Certifications) is an asset.
  • Minimum 8 years relevant work experience (academic or industry) in advanced analytics, insights generation and data management is required.
  • Experience within the healthcare industry is an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python to support AI/ML and advanced analytics is required.
  • Experience with C++ / JavaScript / Java / C# / R are beneficial.
  • Experience developing and optimizing machine learning model(s) including: Linear or Logistic Regression / Discriminant Analysis, is required
  • Experience with Classification and Regression Trees / Naive Bayes / K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) / Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) / Support Vector Machines (SVM) are beneficial.
  • Experience Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data pipelines that process, clean up and store data, data analytics and predictions is required.
  • Experience performing exploratory data analysis, summary (descriptive) statistics for a dataset is required.
  • Advanced knowledge and expertise in leveraging pharma industry syndicated data (IQVIA) and patient support program data is an asset.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to senior leadership are required.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to focus on accurate, results-focused work and prioritizing multiple demands is required.
  • Experience working within the AWS environment for AI Infrastructure, Statistical Analysis and Data Engineering is strongly preferred.
  • This position is located in Toronto, Canada and may require up to or less than approximately 10% travel.
