Under the direction of the Technical Operations Supervisor, coordinates and schedules all of the preventive, predictive, corrective, work orders and special projects generated by the Maintenance department and by other departments of the Plant.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support to the Technical Operations Engineering Department in the receiving, planning, work estimates, and the coordination of work orders related to repairs, preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Reviews work orders, clarifies details with the originator to ensure the objective of the work order is clear. Pays special attention to work orders for corrective and preventive actions
- Coordinates equipment, facilities or the machinery availability to effectively execute the work order. If possible, integrates calibration itinerary with the maintenance activities to minimize business impact.
- Must interact with all levels of management to effectively plan maintenance work and to share maintenance metrics.
- Ensures the employees distribution is done according to the nature and magnitude of the tasks and associates skills levels.
- Establishes constant communication with the production planners to minimize any possible interference between production and maintenance work orders.
- Serves as the official contact between the Technical Operations Engineering Department and other departments for the coordination of work orders.
- Assists in the preparation of "Plant Shutdowns" and verifies all work requirements of departments and work groups with the Engineering supervisors, Process engineers, and special projects engineers.
- Provides support to the Technical Operations Engineering Department personnel in the covering of training gaps related to die dispatch and machine shop.
- Prepares kitting parts for preventive maintenance, at least one day prior to the execution of the work schedule.
- Serves as the official contact between the Technical Operations Engineering Department and Compliance Department supporting audit record management.
- Must interact with MES to load preventive maintenance work orders into the system.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electricity, Electronic or Mechanical or related technical field is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with Maintenance Systems (CMMS), cGMP's and manufacturing process is required.
- Experience in medical or pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and use of software applications is required.
- Basic knowledge of CMMS (MAXIMO) is required.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish is required.
- Availability to work overtime, various work schedules, which may include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and/or 12-hour daily shifts, including weekends and holidays is required.
