An Aviation Department Internship position is available at West Trenton Mercer County Airport.

The Internship Program is from May through August and focuses on providing college students with practical business aviation experience. It allows them to develop leadership skills, broaden their understanding of the concepts learned in school and "get a taste of the real world" before they are fully committed to it.

Internship Roles:

  • Aircraft Maintenance (Scheduled & Unscheduled)
  • Line Work (Towing, fueling, marshalling)
  • Troubleshooting Aircraft Systems

Fleet aircraft includes

  • Gulfstream G600 (2)
  • Gulfstream G650 (2)
  • Leonardo AW-139 (1)


Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the co-op term.
  • Availability to work full-time on-site for the duration of the co-op term, if you are taking classes during the term all courses and coursework must be completed outside of business hours (8am - 5pm, M-F)
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor Program in Aviation Technology, Aircraft Maintenance, or any related field.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word, and Excel)
  • Driver's License
  • Less than an hour commute
  • Cell phone with email capability
  • Schedule availability (mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends)
