Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking Learning & Capability Lead to join our MAKE Asset Management Organization located in US Large Molecule Drug Substance Site located in Wilson, North Carolina. This role will support a new site startup, as such it may require periods of heightened travel to support these activities. This travel would be during the site ramp up period and dependent on functional needs and project timelines (in some cases frequent travel and or short terms stays with vendors, sister companies, partners).
While this role will ultimately support the site operations located in Wilson NC, this role will also be required to support the project phase across both design & construction. For the project design phase, the role will require you to be present with our design teams in the Greater Philadelphia region. Once the design phase is completed, this role will support the construction and operational start-up of the site. For this, you will be required to be on site in Wilson, NC. Based on your current location the hiring team will work with you to determine travel and relocation arrangements. In steady state, we expect travel to be less than 25%.

Position Summary:
The MAM (MAKE Asset Management) organization operates as one integrated team in the delivery of Engineering, Maintenance and Execution Systems solutions. We operate in a standard, coordinated and consistent manner in support of the current and future requirements of our Manufacturing and Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) and in partnership with key internal/external network.
The Training & Capability Lead reports to the MAM Director and is responsible for driving the current and future learning and capabilities needs within the Make Asset Management (MAM) team. The position will collaborate across site and platform in the collective progression of Learning, capabilities and a Learning Culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with the Site Learning & Capabilities Lead and the MAM Managers to design and deploy the Training and Capability Building strategy within the MAM Team.
• May Lead training activities for the MAM team.
• Promote the use of the J&J Learn Platform in MAM.
• Responsible for working with the MAM team to identify capability needs and training solutions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and deliver on improvement goals.
• Support and deliver site and platform initiatives in the realm of MAM people capability.
• Identify development and skill gaps and support the MAM team to close gaps and enhance performance.
• Lead by example and strive to perform to high standards at all times in compliance with Credo and Leadership Behaviors.
• Instigate and embed appropriate KPIs to Track Progress
• Build and coordinate the governance process for advancing our MAM learning and capabilities to ensure that targets are met.
• Recognize and respond to sources of change and handle change effectively. Promote a culture where change is viewed with a positive outlook.
• Prioritize activities to support the business cascade.
• Collaborate with LM Platform to share and leverage best practices and to enhance capabilities onsite.
• Maintain awareness of the external environment, adding new value and insights. Uses insights to uncover important unmet needs and encourage and support internal collaboration across levels, creating effective solutions.
• Supply to innovative and viable products, services and/or solutions, adding customer value. Challenges the status quo and adapt to change, taking advantage of opportunities to have a positive impact.

Education:
- An Associates degree is required; Bachelor in a related field is preferred
Required:
- A minimum of 5 Years of Shown experience within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Problem solving/decision making methodology training.
- Strong aptitude and appreciation for Adult Learning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to operate as part of a team is critical.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Detail and goal oriented, teamwork and customer-focus.
- Influencing skills, partnering and collaboration skills, analytical skills, conflict and risk management skills, critical thinking and good oral and written presentation skills are required.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of cGMP's for Maintenance in an FDA regulated environment.
- Experience with virtual reality or other advanced learning capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal MAM Teams, and various other internal and external functional areas.
- Good understanding of the developing Digital world to transform Biopharma
- Good understanding of the key technologies to enable faster, better, and more efficient manufacturing of current and future product modalities.
- Good appreciation of Industry 4.0/IIoT and how we can efficiently transform within this framework
