The Lead is responsible for leading multifunctional teams to plan and schedule work activities in three (3) production facilities and the non-production portions of the site to improve schedule attainment and reliability. They will administer and use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to schedule and plan work, maintain parts inventory, and report maintenance performance. The Lead will also partner with Site Stores Coordinator to assure availability of stock and non-stock supplies and parts. Additionally, they will be responsible for creating valuable data insights for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize workflow of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Activities.
  • Schedule activities for each operating facility based on data received in monthly reports.
  • Develop activity plans for Maintenance Work Orders and integrate into the production schedule of each operating facility.
  • Maintain a healthy backlog of work orders.
  • Lead Planning and Scheduling meetings with Operations Personnel to discuss maintenance activities.
  • Modify planned activities as needed based on equipment and personnel availability.
  • Achieve valuable data insights by analyzing weekly Maintenance Metrics and work with Operations and Maintenance Supervisors to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide data, graphs, charts, and information from CMMS as requested.
  • Service master data within CMMS per change control to reflect accurate data for equipment, inventory, job plans, schedules, data sheets, bill of materials, etc.
  • Determine qualified suppliers and prepare bid inquiries according to business needs.
  • Participate in and lead projects as requested.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and supervising site shutdown activities.
  • Remain current in industry and latest technology and seek benchmarking opportunities.
  • Understand and responsibly perform duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Conduct duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, EPA, OSHA and DEA, and in alignment with all company and site policies and procedures, including ISO 14001.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of an Associate's, Vocational, Certificate, Technical, or equivalent degree/diploma is required
  • Certifications preferred in one or more of the following: Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), Manufacturing Asset Management Certification, and/or Maintenance Planning certification

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in production or maintenance activities in a regulated environment
  • Solid understanding of a CMMS database system
  • Experience with project/outage planning and management (e.g., accountable for timelines, budgets, safety, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively present information, including technical situations, and respond to questions from all levels of the organization including groups of managers, clients, customers, and/or employees
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations to draw and/or interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to use software programs including Microsoft Office, database systems, mathematical applications and customize them for business purposes
  • Ability to successfully balance multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to schedule

Preferred:

  • Work experience within Biopharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical, or a related GMP industry
  • Experience with planning in SAP 4 Hanna/SAP PM
  • Experience in developing, creating, and using production or work schedules
  • Experience assessing and advising impact to production schedule during unplanned downtime

Other:

  • Requires ability to work onsite during day shift hours (e.g., 8am - 4pm) and occasionally work alternate shifts / extra hours (e.g., shut-down, planning, overtime) depending on business needs
