POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the role of Lead Analyst, Abiomed Global Franchise. The Lead Analyst will be responsible for the development and delivery of business performance reporting and analysis for the Global Admin Functions (Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and other admin functions), including partnership with regional finance teams. This includes leading forecast cycles, financial closes and ad-hoc analytics while driving process improvements and standardization. In addition, the Lead Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for Abiomed's Global headcount reporting and compensation and benefits analytics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish a best-in-class process to provide strategic financial support to the Abiomed Admin functions as a trusted business partner including financial planning and close cycles to ensure compliant delivery of financial commitments, including headcount and free cash flow.

• Lead and coordinate budgeting process for the Business Plan, forecasts updates, latest thinking, and actual reporting.

• Partner across the Abiomed Finance team to consolidate a Global view of Actuals and Forecast for the Admin Functions.

• Incorporate data driven analytical insights for use in providing counsel, influencing decision-making and developing business commentary with Functional Leaders.

• Establish and maintain accurate global headcount reporting through partnership with HR.

• Standup headcount report automation through partnership with IT and Systems teams.

• Responsible for headcount reporting requirements to Corporate.

• Execute compensation and benefits analytics to ensure accurate financial results and reporting.

• Create data visualization to analyze headcount and comp and benefits relationships.

• Prepare and present financial results to leadership, using executive-level framing to shape the key messages.

• Document desktop procedures, standard operating procedures to ensure a robust financial control environment and end-to-end process governance.

• Lead CREDO, Org Health, DE&I, Talent initiatives to foster collaboration, personal & professional growth and serve the communities in which we live and work.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance Accounting or related field is required.

• A minimum 4 years of experience within finance required.

• Experience working with US GAAP is preferred.

• Intellectual curiosity and confidence to operate autonomously, with minimal direct supervision is required

• Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to quickly adapt to use of new systems and tools are required.

• Ability to think strategically and connect optimally with upper management is required.

• Strong planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills are required.

• Excellent interpersonal, as well as both oral and written communication skills are required.

• Effectively work with new and changing situations is required.

• Being an independent worker is required.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and influence skills with external partners is required.

• Competent in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Planner, Power BI, Power Automate.) is required.

• This position has a preferred location in Danvers, MA. Flexible work arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis. This role may require up to 10% of travel.

The base pay range for this position is $88,000 - $142,600

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
