Responsibilities:

  • Develop transient transfection processes for the viral vector manufacturing in suspension platform
  • Design and execute small scale experiment to improve and optimize viral vector manufacturing process (up-stream)
  • Collect and Organize data
  • Have an understanding of down stream processes (Preferred)
  • Be able to work in a culture of continuous improvement of the processes and incorporation of new technologies
  • The applicant has successfully demonstrated technical proficiency, scientific creativity, initiative and independent thinking
  • Be able to work in a collaborative environment and contribute individually to meet project deadlines.


Qualifications

  • A BS/MS in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Virology, Biochemistry or Biotechnology with relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in Aseptic cell culture techniques of mammalian cells and other bio-analytical techniques.
  • Understanding of Transfection processes and viral vector biology.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills, eager to learn and attention to details.
