Johnson & Johnson Vision Surgical is recruiting for an Associate Product Manager (APM). The Associate Product Manager (APM) will report to the Marketing Manager and will develop strategies and methodologies to further integrate data analytics into marketing processes. This includes but is not limited to product forecasting, generating market insights, supply and demand planning, SLOB mitigation strategies, and EOL process excellence. The APM will interact with key global stakeholders to develop relevant market insights and tailor strategies to the Canadian marketplace.

Position Overview

Partnering with members of the Johnson & Johnson Surgical Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Excellence teams, the APM will assess and review product forecasting approach and methodology across the cataract portfolio. The APM will be responsible for compiling data sources, validating historical trends, and developing and launching the forecasting strategy for the category.

The complex account selling environment requires the APM to effectively collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to achieve defined objectives with the customer. The APM needs to communicate with J&J commercial teams, along with cross functional colleagues as well as externally with customers.

The APM will utilize their strong analytic skills to effectively align internal team members and optimize the process to achieve maximum insights, efficiencies, and strategies for demand signal and SLOB mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Takes ownership for forecasting process for demand across Canada based on historical trends and market insights. This role requires a high degree of personal integrity and self-motivation. Strong analytical skills and a data driven approach in attaining set objectives are mandatory candidate characteristics.
  • Coordinate activities of cross functional areas, demand planners, and sales team. Build and maintain relationships with global counterparts and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Take responsibility for allocated resources to ensure efficient use of resources and address critical issues impacting the portfolio, to maximize growth.
  • Support the national and regional conferences and key customer events.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • First year of either a full-time MBA Or Master's degree program and will be graduating after September 2025
  • Available full-time for a period of at least 8-12 weeks between June and September 2025
  • Experience in Account Management, with proven record of successful implementation and execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, a strong customer focus, as well as excellent judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Experience working in agile or scrum-based teams highly regarded
  • Data analytics and insight generation
  • Experience with joint value creation preferred.
  • Strong Financial acumen
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication and collaboration / team building skills.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) an asset.
