Drug Product Development Intern (May - Aug 2025)

Project Overview: Join our innovative team at Johnson & Johnson to work on optimizing and stabilizing therapeutic antibody solutions. Therapeutic antibodies are essential in modern medicine for their specificity and efficacy in treating various diseases. This project seeks to address the challenges of maintaining antibody stability during storage and administration through cutting-edge research and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage and enhance computational methods to explore stabilizing solutions for therapeutic antibodies within the J&J portfolio. Utilize computer simulations to analyze and compare different stabilizer species, aiming to reduce material costs and time. Shadow scientists performing high-throughput screening (HTS) of solution variations in the lab to assess antibody stabilization. Generate and validate datasets that align both laboratory and simulation data to aid in the development of improved modeling approaches.

Qualifications

  • Able to work in the US and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., FI, H1-B status)
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College program throughout the entire duration of the internship (Not necessarily actively taking classes)
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Bioengineering, Biophysics, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of working in a Linux environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Available to work full-time (40 hrs./week) with reliable transportation to and from work if asked to report on-site
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher and be available to work the hours agreed upon with the hiring manager.
