The Group Product Director for Mood Consumer will lead a highly capable team composed of dedicated and passionate individuals focused on Consumer and Caregiver Strategies for the Mood franchise within Neuroscience. This leader will be responsible for innovating on Consumer opportunities for SPRAVATO, including how to best communicate and engage with the key patient segments that are appropriate candidates for SPRAVATO.
The role will require close collaboration with the Director of Marketing for Mood, as well as other cross functional area leads and partners in Commercial Insights and Strategy, Medical Affairs, Communications, Copy Approval Committee (CAC), Learning Excellence, Finance, Sales leadership, and Neuroscience Franchise Marketing to develop plans and tactics for the U.S. business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of Consumer strategies and marketing mix to drive patient awareness and ask for SPRAVATO®.
• Lead DTC campaign strategy, development, and implementation and DTC media planning and investment decisions based on strategic imperatives and in-market performance.
• Lead and elevate the SPRAVATO digital ecosystem, including the Consumer website, to ensure the best end-user experience to drive patient activation.
• Lead the expansion of culturally inclusive consumer targeting and marketing tactics to address specific under-served populations.
- Empower the Consumer team members to develop and deploy Speaker Bureau assets to customize Prof Ed content to address the educational needs in the marketplace.
- Lead, guide, and coach a team of Marketing professionals and must develop, retain, and motivate direct reports in a fast-paced launch environment.

- Innovative leader who can challenge assumptions and think creatively to solve complex problems with urgency
- Establish clear Consumer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all aligned strategies and tactics to ensure year-over-year performance growth.
- Work collaboratively with brand partners to ensure an optimal patient experience for SPRAVATO within certified Treatment Centers.
- Lead Consumer OPEX budget, including all aspects of media planning and agency spend to ensure we are smartly allocating resources to optimize business impact.
This individual must demonstrate strong leadership presence through influencing with and without authority with high-level management, detailed orientation, and excellent strategic thinking. This position requires extensive interactions with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Postgraduate qualification, PhD, PharmD, MBA, or other graduate degree is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience. Pharmaceutical and healthcare knowledge are strongly preferred.
• Prior Consumer/Patient Marketing Experience is required.
- At least 5 years demonstrated Marketing experience is strongly preferred.
- Healthcare experience is preferred and prior experience with account management, site of care, market access, or channel marketing is preferred.
- A demonstrated ability to partner and work with multiple agencies/vendors, manage budgets and projects, cross-functionally, cross-geography, and with cross-company teams of high-level managers and executives is required.
- Strong verbal, written and executive communication skills are required along with demonstrated presentation skills.
- An ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and driving decision making is required.
- Experience working with customers and translating customer needs to the broader organization
- Demonstrated ability to formally lead, manage, coach, and develop direct reports is strongly preferred.
- This position is in Titusville, NJ with mandatory requirement of three days a week in the office and requires up to 25% travel.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
