This position within the Prostate Portfolio Marketing Team will be responsible for the development of the U.S. market access strategy for ERLEADA® and AKEEGA®. The GPD will direct all market access marketing activities and the design, planning, and execution of programs to support interactions with HCPs, Payers, and Population Health Decision Makers. The GPD will be responsible for the leadership of direct reports and must work closely with multiple functions including Professional Promotion Marketing, Strategic Customer Group (SCG), Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS), Franchise Marketing, Sales, Sales Training, Business Analytics, Medical Affairs, Real World Value & Evidence (HECOR), R&D, Corporate Communications and outside vendors in order to effectively execute key commercial activities. In addition, this GPD will also work closely with the leaders across the Janssen Genitourinary (GU) Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead brand payer and PHDM strategies to shape the market and achieve brand market access goals
  • Responsible for development of differentiated brand value position and market access resources
  • Lead GPO strategy and engagement in addition to Trade/Distribution network management
  • Design and launch access pull through and fulfillment strategies and tactics
  • Develop competitive access strategies for Prostate Cancer Market
  • Analyze access and reimbursement data to monitor progress and develop plans to improve effectiveness/efficiency
  • Represent US team on EMAT and IEGP global strategic forums to ensure US input
  • Collaborate with Strategic Customer Group (SCG) across all teams (including field teams) including Value, Access & Pricing
  • Oversee tactical execution of direct and indirect reports
  • People Development: Performance, coaching and development coordination and calibration, Succession planning, Development plans, Recruitment/Retention

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required; MBA, JD, PhD or other preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years business experience (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Management, Access, etc) of which 5 years of marketing, contracting and/or market access experience and proven performance is required.
  • Market Access experience is highly preferred.
  • Oncology, Urology, and VA channel experience preferred.
  • A demonstrated ability to partner and work with multiple agencies/vendors, manage budgets and projects, cross-functionally, and with cross-company teams of high-level managers and executives is required.
  • Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen.
  • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, gain alignment and driving decision making is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to formally manage, coach, and develop direct reports is strongly preferred.
  • Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically.
  • Can operate in two worlds - big picture orientation with attention to detail. Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel.
  • Strong verbal, written and executive communication skills are required along with demonstrated presentation skills.

This role is based in Horsham, PA and requires up to 25% travel (predominantly US with limited OUS travel).
