Job Duties: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to the Monarch Robotics System to determine root cause. Perform failure analysis on the Monarch Bronchoscopy System - Scope/Sheath, and associated identification and authentication. Collaborate with Engineers, Clinical Specialists, Field Service Engineers, and Manufacturing personnel to facilitate a deep understanding of device functionality and failures, in order to perform in-depth root cause analysis. Design and execute experiments and test methods to test theories, in order to refine failure modes and determine root cause. Gather, analyze, and interpret information from data logs and various applications as part of root cause analysis. Write formal analysis reports for a broad audience to provide clear and accurate messaging about analysis findings. Provide frequent verbal and written updates of work-in-progress for various meetings. Improve investigation methodologies, develop and validate new test fixtures, and mentor the analysis team in the execution of those methods. Use the J&J Electronic Complaint System (ECM) to document investigations and draft customer response letters. Perform Monarch System Complaint Trend Analysis and provide documentation for PQSS meetings. Act as a failure analysis subject matter expert during audit for the Monarch product complaints.

Qualifications
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Failure Analysis Engineer-related occupation.
