Job Summary
As a Facilities Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring continued support for all aspects of the site related to Facilities Electrical needs. Lead the execution of electrical projects and improvements. Support any facilities electrical project needs within the site.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Able to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Document all equipment service activities and modifications in the Equipment Logbook.
- Works towards effectively managing deadlines in completing projects as well as breakdown maintenance activities.
- Operates all portable power tools and hand tools to address and repair of equipment.
- Use knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics in problem diagnosis and solutions.
Qualifications
- High School graduate, G.E.D. or equivalent skills, experience or training is required.
- Minimum of two years of technical school, military training or equivalent OJT (on the job training) in an instrument related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of instrument related diagrams, tables and specifications, etc. is required.
- Self-motivated and capable of taking a lead position in completing duties is required.
