This Director position has the role of SM PES Planning Leader for the global SM PES Manufacturing organization! Key responsibilities include:

  • Functional leadership, leading the capabilities of the planning team and ensure alignment with the global PES Manufacturing Organization (15%)
  • Overall accountability for the execution of the production planning, scheduling and materials requirements planning processes, master data management, and pro-active & balanced communication of issues (45%).
  • Development of people and organization (30%)
  • Drive CMO S&OP Process and SM PES Supply Review Meetings, in line with IBP process (10%)

As the Leader will need to seamlessly deliver in these areas:

  • Model the J&J Leadership Imperatives and drive the capabilities of the PES planning organization! This entails people capabilities, optimizing processes and deployment of effective technology. Recruit and lead the planning talent. Develop and maintain objectives, development plans, performance reviews and succession plans for all team members.
  • Improve Planning Processes by aligning process and governance to support the overall Fit-4-Purpose segmentation approach. Drive continuous improvement to improve planning and master data processes to help identify and drive improvements on delivery, cost, and reliability.
  • Deploying effective Technology implementation and adoption of digital capabilities. Fully transition to OMP+ planning across PES footprint post all Deployments. Engage and leverage Supply Network Collaboration (SNC) through OneNetwork technology for External Manufacturer integration. Ensure governance and accuracy of all planning parameters within relevant planning/execution/collaboration systems.
  • Global Planning lead to shape CMO S&OP Process and SM PES Supply Review Forum. Drive Operational execution of Planning business processes: Lead the team in setting up a balanced masterplan, detailed plan and material plan which takes into account operations efficiency, inventory and customer service. Create and manage relationships, internally and externally, that allow the plant to interpret production requirements and respond with the right capacity, products and schedules to meet customer requirements. Proactively identify constraints or potential issues and develop options for resolution.
  • Develop annual business plan and quarterly updates for departmental expenses as well as production plans for manufacturing sites that meet demand and inventory expectations. Deliver business plan attainment. Own the Short Term Exception Management (STEM) process. Be accountable for the team results and objectives: set an executable plan for production, on time availability of finished products towards customers and on time availability of raw materials & packaging materials for production.


Qualifications

Education

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree is preferred
  • APICS and Green Belt certification is preferred

Required

  • 10+ years of strong experience in Supply Chain management
  • Knowledge and in-depth experience of SAP/OMP
  • Strong understanding in the area of Supply Chain and financials. Clear understanding of external Supply Chain trends.
  • Ability to embed a culture of harmonization and process improvement and value creation. Collaborates effectively to achieve performance improvement. Establishes effective communications and common goals and objectives.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist. Ability to build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels.
  • Serve as a role model for Credo based decision making.

Preferred

  • Experience within the pharmaceuticals and medical device sectors

Other

  • This position requires up to 15% of travel time - domestically and internationally

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000- 244,000 USD

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
