The Strategic Customer Group is responsible for the development and execution of strategies that ensure optimal access and reimbursement for the J&J portfolio. Overall, this individual collaborates with brand and cross-functional partners to develop winning market access strategies and execution programs for the Invega Portfolio. This is a visible and strategic role and will require innovative thinking and speed to impact.

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Lead a team of SCG marketing professionals and partner with the Invega portfolio marketing teams to build and deliver well-integrated winning market access strategies
  • Work with the broader J&J organization in developing the business rationale and support for the strategies developed
  • Lead and shape market insights to inform access strategy, ensuring voice of the customer is infused
  • Lead development and successful presentation of annual Market Access Readiness Review process for the Invega Portfolio
  • Lead the development of critical market access resources such as the Payer Value Proposition for PHDM (Population Health Decision Makers)
  • Work with our real-world value and evidence (RWV&E) and analytics / insights teams to develop clear value propositions for our SCG customers to drive access and reimbursement strategies
  • Utilize deep understanding of the changing healthcare landscape and impact on both short- and long-term requirements for delivering sustainable market access and reimbursement strategies
  • Collaborate effectively with brand team partners to ensure targeted strategies, priorities and tactics are aligned and support
  • Ensure that all payer / institution account management teams are informed, educated, and supported with the right information and materials to ensure solid strategy and execution
  • Ensure the effective integration and leadership of your team across other VAP team members, peers, internal business partners including but not limited to RWV&E, pricing, quality and HCC / Legal / Regulatory to deliver on commitments and deadlines


Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Advanced Degree or MBA preferred
  • Seven years of progressive healthcare experience required. Pharmaceuticals experience required.
  • Three years of prior marketing experience is preferred but would consider candidates with other market access functional experiences (pricing, policy, account management, etc.)
  • Ability to work with approved vendors and data / information sources to develop solid business rationale for the proposed strategies
  • Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. payer and reimbursement market
  • A strong communicator that can lead delivery and creation of innovative and tailored communications to educate and mobilize critical stakeholders is required
  • Additional cross functional experiences within strategy development, finance, business development, account management or sales preferred
  • Ability to effectively operate and lead in a matrix environment required & drive projects to completion
  • Must demonstrate strong strategy, innovation, collaboration and analytical skills as well as excellent overall business acumen
  • Flexibility to travel within J&J campuses as needed; this position will be based in Titusville, NJ
  • TBD Required domestic travel up to 25% for required meetings, training, customer visits, etc.

Other:

  • This position is based in Titusville, NJ and will require up to 25% travel (domestic). Team typically works Mon, Tues, Wed on-site.
  • This position is based in Titusville, NJ. Candidate is required to work 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week under the J&J Flex plan.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 160000 to 276000.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. • Please use the following language:

    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
