The Director, Contracting Solutions will be responsible for leading a group of specialized contracting professionals focused on the strategic lifecycle management of several tools/systems as well as collaborating with the respective technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the management of specialized software vendors in a full lifecycle management approach
  • Collaborate with technology partners in incident management and defect management including escalation, metrics, and resource allocation
  • Partner with stakeholders including, but not limited to, internal business partners, upstream/downstream technology resources, finance, and external industry associates
  • Drive strong change management for in-scope system and tools
  • Collaborate with peers (e.g., Regional & Global Process Owners) to stay current with process trends and leading practices occurring in the marketplace to inform strategic direction
  • Lead multiple sub-teams focused on different sectors, countries, or areas of focus
  • Collaborate with other enterprise projects that may influence or affect contracting solutions, processes, and systems (e.g., TranSCend, SigniFi, Cash Flow Generation Office)
  • Lead market scans and evaluation of industry best-practices for Contracting and Revenue management systems
  • Participate in events and engagement to shape future roadmap solutions for the industry
  • Create resource goals & objectives and hold individuals accountable for execution
  • As needed, make personnel decisions regarding hiring, performance, and termination
  • Manage team/personnel budget as well as other financial tracking/reporting (e.g., Capital Acquisition Requests)
  • Build and maintain relationships at all levels throughout the organization
  • Lead effectively through times of crisis and ambiguity


Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of ten years total business or related experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Understanding of J&J System Design Lifecycle (SDLC) Management
  • Proficiency in English

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with Revenue Management Systems (e.g., Model N, etc.) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JDE, etc.)
  • Change management experience and/or certification
  • Experience in working across multiple J&J sectors
  • Experience in working across multiple countries/regions
  • Six Sigma/Lean Belt or other process engineering certification
  • Project Management Professional or equivalent certification
  • Masters' degree or equivalent
  • Familiarity with US Federal Government Contracting

Other:

  • This position is anticipated to have up to 10% travel
  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
