Duties and Responsibilities
Are you looking to get hands on experience in the Corporate world? Our Co-Op position looks to develop early talent under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, to gain real time knowledge and developing an encouraging network. This role will support our Surgery business within Johnson & Johnson MedTech within the Global Technical Operations and Supply Chain organizations.
- Responsible for accurately and timely collecting, analyzing, consolidating, and reporting relevant data for the supply chain project team.
- Builds and develops new tools and systems to improve the efficiency of the existing processes.
- Interact with external suppliers to support key projects and lead small technical projects and process changes.
- Write and execute process development protocols and reports.
- Gather and analyze process data using varying levels of advanced analytics.
- Support input of manufacturing requirements into product design to insure design for manufacturability & team goals are met.
- Documents processes to ensure effective knowledge transfer and communicates business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
- Knows and follows policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility.
- Completes training in areas of responsibility within allowed time-period.
- For ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Support community and Credo events and activities.
- Actively participate in all other team activities contributing where required to other functional areas within team!
- Assignments will typically be of low to moderate size & complexity, or responsibility for part of a more complex project.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/institution pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Must have completed a minimum of two semesters in school at the beginning of the co-op (class standing of a sophomore or above)
- Considered a student during the co-op term, must not have a graduation date prior to December 2025
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the co-op term
- Have demonstrated leadership/participation in campus programs and/or community service activities
- Availability to work full-time on-site for the duration of the co-op term. This is a hybrid position with minimum 3 days on site in the Cincinnati, OH office. If you are taking classes during the term, all courses and coursework must be completed outside of business hours (8am - 5pm, M-F)
- Previous internship or co-op experience in the medical device industry is preferred
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
