POSITION SUMMARY
Abiomed is looking for an engineering candidate for the Deliver Excellence Co-Op position to help lead the supply chain organization into the future. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working cross collaboratively with a global team to support manufacturing processes and finished good exports within the supply chain organization. This individual will support optimization and effectiveness of the global supply chain business processes and systems including their design, architecture, configuration, and integration across the business. They will gain experience in best-in-class manufacturing processes within supply chain and work cross collaboratively with quality, manufacturing, and regulatory teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support logistics warehouse configuration, including working cross collaboratively to support new product launches, system requirements, performing equipment qualification, and evaluating new logistics technologies
Attend product development project meetings and global product strategy discussions to improve patient access
Release inspection plans, material flow, and shipping procedures using best practices, gaining experience with change management and process management within supply chain.
Advance 5S initiatives in new Supply Chain and Logistics facility
Spearhead the release of process documentation (assembly procedures, routers, travelers, BOMs,
process flows, and process FMEAs)
Support initiatives with Product Management and Regulatory teams to ensure label and packaging configurations are appropriate for localized requirements in a global market
Assist non-conformance investigations, corrective and preventative actions, and overall risk mitigation activities relating to post-sterile and shippable goods
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Bioengineering.
- Understanding of project management
- Critical thinking and creative problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment while continually and constructively
challenging the status quo - Dedicated, passionate and eager to learn
