Position Description

While working at the intersection of business strategy, emerging capabilities, and digital transformation, this role will drive the technology strategy, planning, governance, and capability roadmap of multiple platforms. This will include platforms for which there is direct and supportive ownership. This includes but is not limited to the following technologies: ServiceNow CRM, Salesforce CRM, Genesys Cloud, Celonis, Analytics Data Hub and multiple AI solution sets.

This strong digital leader will understand industry trends, customer demands, and driving and environment of experimentation on high-value opportunities. This position will continually engage functional leaders and will help develop Corporate Technology as a strategic advantage and enabler of digital leadership.

In close partnership with Johnson & Johnson Global Services (GS), this role will envision future state opportunities to drive efficiencies, effectiveness and the user experience (3 E's) for the J&J enterprise by consolidating and optimizing multiple service activities. This role will help identify, influence and deploy incremental technology solutions in support of our Global Services scope expansion strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities

The candidate shall provide strategic direction for critical CBT platforms supporting Global Services and the J&J employee population. He/she will be responsible for the operational support of the current AskGS platform in 2025 and the planned retirement, including data archiving and decommissioning later in 2025. This platform currently supports all 130,000 employees of J&J globally plus external partners.

This role will also be responsible for all CBT technologies required from Global Services to launch the new planned manufacturing facility in Costa Rica for the J&J MedTech business. Under Project EPSILON, this new facility, which is currently under construction, will require 3,000 new employees, with expansion plans up to 6,000 employees. This role with have cross functional responsibility for strategies to deploy all necessary required systems to the new facility. The role will partner closely with the GS Director with similar GS responsibilities.

Global Services has a comprehensive strategy for expanding services to the J&J employee base with a goal of simplification and improved employee experience. This position will also have oversight of the CBT support for the Global Services Scope Expansion strategy. As GS identifies disjoint or sub-optimal business processes, they will create a strategy to consolidate the business service and drive cost and user experience improvements. As this strategy further develops, this role will be on point as the CBT leader responsible for maturing these initiatives and identifying technologies which can accelerate these opportunities.

The candidate will need to inform and influence well beyond the CBT organization, expanding to TS, ISRM, Global Services, etc. The candidate shall ensure all solution development occurs within the framework of the JJT High Performing Teams (HPT) model, inclusive of the Agile methodology.

The candidate will manage all communication regarding the planned AskGS retirement, including data archiving and decommissioning. He/she will also have oversight of communications for GS expansion strategies to JJT leadership, inclusive of platform strategy updates and progress to senior management, project sponsors, and other key partners, and addressing any expectations, concerns, feedback or questions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or related degree; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of related technology and/or Global Business Services experience
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Hands-on working knowledge of Agile development methodology
  • Demonstrable experience leading diverse global teams for program/project implementation, deployment, and product management.
  • Strong decision-making, consulting, & executive level business communication and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative spirit that leads and influences teams and partners to experiment with technology and establish shared platforms to drive business results.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com products
  • Experience with Service Management products
  • Intelligent automation and reporting & analytics experience

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
    • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
    • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
    • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
