Are you an enthusiastic and creative undergraduate student who is passionate about communications and healthcare? Join us! We need someone with a new point of view and a fresh set of skills that can help us create engaging internal communication assets that reflect our campus culture!

By joining the J&J La Jolla Campus Management team, you would be shaping and implementing some aspects of the site marketing and branding strategy to engage our local workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing and shooting employee videos for digital communications.
  • Creating campus internal communication materials such as Power Point templates, document templates, campus portal images, etc. that increase the value of our campus business and culture.
  • Contributing to campus employee engagement campaigns.
  • Strengthening the campus internal social media page (Viva Engage).
  • In partnership with Campus Management team, build engagement campaign for the La Jolla Internship Enrichment Program.
  • Connect with and provide communication materials for onsite interns.


Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

  • Completion of Undergraduate Sophomore year at an accredited University.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Communications, marketing, advertising, or related field
  • Video Production (shooting/editing)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Platforms (PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage)
  • Must be enrolled in university during the internship period
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written skills; comfortable interacting with all levels of our workforce.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Candidates must have authorization to work in the US.

Other:

  • This position is based in San Diego, California.
  • This is a hybrid onsite position (3 days/week onsite; 2 day/week remote).
  • No travel required.

Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
