Ideate and implement globally focused scientific sourcing activation plans and events designed to attract strategic partners, generate leads and source breakthrough innovations to Johnson & Johnson Innovation. This role will be responsible for the implementation of Global Sourcing Campaigns in line with J&J IM priorities and will develop a robust playbook for team members to leverage throughout their regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Global Scientific Sourcing and J&J IM to design comprehensive global scientific sourcing campaigns.
  • Design and deliver globally focused strategic sourcing and scientific activation plans, such as seminars, symposiums etc., including leadership of JJI presence at J&J IM activities designed to attract strategic partners, generate leads and source breakthrough innovations, aligned with J&J IM strategies.
  • Support Global & Regional Sourcing Activation Leader in interactions with J&J IM communication leads to ensure early innovation efforts are aligned and integrated with broader sector / TA communication initiatives
  • Support Global & Regional Sourcing Activation Leader in implementation of plans for global sourcing activations (JPM, BIO)
  • Support Sourcing Activations & Engagement team during major events taking place in a regional location/at innovation locations.
  • Oversee agency in creation of materials for scientific activations.
  • Robust reporting post scientific activations to calculate impact and outcomes over time.
  • Manage personal and professional development.


Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline is required.
  • A PhD in a Biological Science subject is preferred.



Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A proven performer with a minimum of 7 years of brand/product marketing and events experience is required.
  • Experience developing program content and advertising is required.
  • Experience working with and managing vendors, consultants, and budgets is required.
  • Analytical skills are required.
  • Experience in budget forecasting and planning is required.
  • Exceptional writing skills are required.
  • E-Marketing, social media, and digital marketing experience required.
  • Experience in using digital systems for content marketing, event management tools and online tools are required.
  • Good people skills, able to influence management and work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment is required.
  • Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize are required.
  • Strong personal leadership skills are required.
  • Ability to organize work towards deadlines and priorities on a daily basis is required.
  • Customer service oriented experience is required.
  • Ability to demonstrates inclusive leadership is required.
  • This position may require up to 25% domestic or international travel

Preferred:

  • Team leadership and management experience is preferred.
  • Experience within a healthcare setting or industry association is preferred.
  • Experience managing events/symposia for at least 500 in-person attendees is preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000 USD

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
