Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Associate Director, Medical Excellence Lead to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the integration of medical impact, and medical excellence initiatives. The successful candidate will lead the Medical Impact Integration & Evaluation, ensuring data-driven insights and impact evaluations are integrated seamlessly into our operations. This role requires a proactive leader to manage compliance, vendor selection, process advisement, and promote organizational innovation while leveraging resources for learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Impact Integration, Evaluation & Dashboards

  • Lead the integration of internal and external data and insights to drive informed decision-making and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Conduct impact evaluations in partnership with JSA or external vendors.
  • Act as the key partner for ME.AI (Field's Key Partner) to ensure alignment and integration.
  • Oversee the assessment and evaluation of key medical affairs programs through surveys and other tools.
  • Facilitate the use of innovative AI tools to enhance medical impact and outcomes.
  • Develop and present comprehensive impact reports to senior leadership, highlighting key findings and strategic implications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze key performance indicators, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management in decision-making processes, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize medical initiatives.
  • Develop a Medical Affairs Impact dashboard

Medical Excellence

  • Monitor compliance in close collaboration with HCC to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
  • Optimize vendor selection and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Provide systematic process optimization recommendations for all JPH MAF members.
  • Continuously enhance team capabilities through initiatives like Empower U, Career Journey, and DEI programs.
  • Collaborate with academic institutions to enhance training programs and reflect Credo survey needs.
  • Drive innovative solutions and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization by providing strategic insights and recommendations.


Qualifications

Requirements

  • Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, specifically in medical affairs, data science, clinical development, research, or equivalent clinical practice.
  • Alternatively, an MD or PhD with relevant experience in medical affairs, data science, clinical development, or research is also suitable; candidates with extensive pharmaceutical industry experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong quantitative thinking skills, innovative mindset, and willingness to embrace new tools and ideas.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently.

Preferred:

• Enthusiastic about innovation and trying new technologies and tools.

• Strong quantitative analytical skills and abilities.

• Experience in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Willingness to travel within and outside of the U.S. as needed (estimated 10-20%).

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

    - Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
    - Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
    - Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
    - Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
