Reporting into the MedTech Education group, the Associate Director, Academic Alliances is responsible for developing and overseeing the strategy and execution of engagement and support for Academic Medical Centers in the education of orthopaedic residents and fellows across the MedTech product portfolio. The Associate Director will manage a team of employees and contractors and work closely with the AMC Commercial Team, Platform Education Teams, Sales Consultants, Health Care Professionals, Professional Relations, Medical Affairs and specialty societies to develop and coordinate curriculum for company sponsored Professional Education events of varying sizes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic plans and identify associated tactics to integrate new product and technology solutions into resident/fellow educational programs that support broader organizational objectives.
- Assist WW Director in creation of value prop messaging for Academic Medical Centers and strategic customers related to our educational offering and how to differentiate from competitive offerings.
- Work with specialty societies in support of their resident and fellow curriculum aligned to our product training plans.
- Proactively communicate with and accept feedback from field sales, strategic account group, marketing, and other associated teams to ensure training programs are effective and fully aligned with overall business strategies and goals.
- Prepare reports, slides, and communication strategy to ensure Future Leaders best practices are shared with the internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain familiarity with competing vendors' activities, treatment trends, technology, and new regulations that may present opportunities or threats to the company.
- Evaluate and recommend acquisition or implementation of new training methods or technologies that meet the need of the learner and expand the learning continuum such as web-based applications and digital tools.
- Collaborate with MedTech Professional Education platform leads to establish and execute personalized learning journeys and other online learning opportunities tailored to residents and fellows.
- Utilize data to track results, point to successes and roadblocks, and define solutions
- Assist WW Director and EdTech LT in communicating our Resident and Fellows strategy to platform leadership.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

- Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

- Appetite for rolling up sleeves and getting hands dirty in executing and collaborating. We're all player coaches, so don't expect to delegate the work to someone else.
- Comfortable working in cadaveric lab settings.
- Travel up to 40%
