BioAdvance is seeking a highly motivated Advanced Analytics Intern to support our efforts in advancing analytics through Generative AI, Machine Learning, and related expertise. Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Multi-Functional Teams:

  • Work with multi-functional teams to understand business activities and support data strategy initiatives.
  • Translate data insights into actionable strategies to enhance program efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze patient-related data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence techniques, statistical methods, and data visualization tools to present findings clearly.
  • Assist in developing and training models to predict patient outcomes and improve support services.
  • Partner with data scientists to implement AI models and ensure their integration into business processes.

Data Governance and Compliance:

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., PIPEDA) in collaboration with the data governance council.

Innovative Solutions:

  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and healthcare.
  • Identify and recommend innovative approaches to leverage data for enhancing patient support services.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Implement key performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of patient support initiatives.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track program performance.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages (such as Python, R) and data analysis tools (such as SQL).
  • Experience with data visualization software (like Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts and techniques.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience working with Generative AI models, including understanding of natural language processing. Experience with building chatbots is an asset.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret sophisticated data and communicate findings to non-technical partners.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

Additional Attributes:

  • Passion for using data to drive insights and improve patient outcomes.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and projects.
  • Availability to work for at least 12 months
