What You Will Do
The Regional Service Sales Manager is a critical leader in high profile territory. Takes ownership and coaches local selling managers to drive Service sales growth across the Region. Sets the standard for professionalism within the Service Sales team to drive, develop, and maintain a high-performance culture through engaged leadership. Ensures effective sales practices that creates customer partnerships, facilitating longevity in the business. Establishes, grows and maintains long-term relationships with strategically important customers. Identifies opportunities for improvements to service selling practices and uses experience, skill and data to facilitate growth in the region.

How You Will Do It
- Leads, coaches, and enables local market Service sales leaders on best practices, sales management, win strategies, and customer engagement.
- Works with Market General Managers to ensure Sales Managers and sellers are upskilled using coaching as well as established learning and development programs and tools.
- Influences managers and front-line sales force by modeling trust, support, and high say/do ratio.
- Prioritizes activities required to achieve targets/plan through actionable metrics. Ensures adoption of strategic initiatives to drive market share growth.
- Ensures local market size and sales capacity requirements are understood and that planned staffing activities occur to cover accounts/markets with the context of current day sales performance and affordability.
- Leads monthly, quarterly commercial forecasting process for local market sales leaders.
- Ensures Regional Implementation of commercial initiatives launched by functional teams.
- Collaborates with Region Service, Installation, and function leadership to ensure cross-functional collaboration and implementation of required SOPs.
- Coaches, mentors, develops, and assists onboarding local market sales leaders.
- Drives sales management cadence and compliance with requirements.
- Monitors and owns weekly huddle process for sales managers and their teams.
- Drives weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline sufficiency in collaboration with market management teams.
- Facilitate an inclusive culture across the region sales team.
- Drives sales growth initiatives, sales team productivity and secures volume and margin growth.
- Evaluating and implementing sales process improvement initiatives, coaching and growing talent.
- Understanding the prime retrofit market and motions.
- Knowledge of HVAC components/Fire components and security/access control/cams.
- Use estimating and contract booking tools
- Manage service contracting and payment terms and conditions
What We Look For
REQUIRED:
- Specific domain experience – 7+ years running a business in building services industry
- Demonstrated experience with service sales leadership,
- Skill in preparing service estimates/ agreements/repair requests
- Display technical aptitude re HVAC, Fire Security industry
- Bachelor's degree or 8 years equivalent Industry experience.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience.
PREFERRED:
- Experience with contracting, understand S&OP, procurement, functional support structures, change management.
- Proven track record of success working in a matrixed organization, dealing with conflict resolution and change management, achieving win-win results.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Time management, ability to prioritize effectively based on financial impact to the desired business goals.
