J. J. Keller is looking for a Documentation Specialist to join our Success Enablement team in our Managed Services department! J. J. As a Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting other areas of Managed Services related to regulatory questions and how they apply to client situations. This position is also responsible for monitoring changes to applicable regulations and ensuring documents, processes and stakeholders are updated appropriately. The Research Documentation specialist will focus on regulations related to J. J. Keller's driver services such as Driver Qualification Document Compliance and Drug & Alcohol Testing Compliance.
This position has the flexibility to work 100% remote or on-site or hybrid for our local candidates.
Job Responsibilities
- Responds to questions from all Managed Services areas related to regulations and how they apply to specific client situations. Documents the answers and adds additional information to our regulatory manuals as appropriate.
- Monitors and researches regulatory changes and implements steps to apply changes where appropriate, such as:
- Updates forms, manuals, procedures, training materials, etc.
- Prepares best practice recommendations for clients.
- Communicates changes with all stakeholders, such as Product Management, Client Service, Service Operations, Training, etc.
- Provides general advisory services to internal and external clients.
- Provides advisory work for clients, to include preparing formal reports as applicable. Each advisory job entails different criteria for research and deliverables.
- Represents the company at off-site seminars/meetings related to the services we provide. Engages with attendees to enhance relationships and identify ways to improve our services.
- Acts as the regulatory advisor on new processes, projects, documentation changes, new business pre-calls, weekly meetings, committees, etc.
- Creates and updates on-line forms and manuals using a variety of applications.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- 3+ years of experience in Managed Services.
- Relevant regulatory, transportation, or operational experience may be considered in lieu of JJKA experience.
Other Skills/Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of regulations related to assiged service lines.
- Research skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively with internal associates and external clients.
- Good communication skills - verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Physical Requirements
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to customer or other sites may also be required, depending on assignment.

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $26.00 to $27.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's overall experience and geographic location. Note that J. J. Keller is not currently recruiting employees to work in California.
