Job Description

Project Manager leads and supports medium to high complexity projects, focusing on the design and development of medical devices. This person manages assigned projects through the various stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to transfer. This includes developing proposals, scopes of work, functional requirements, project plan with milestones, financials, and implementation plan. This position is within the Jabil Bray Engineering and Technology group who design and develop medical devices under the Design Controls process for ultimate transfer to manufacturing (low to high volumes, manual to fully automated assembly).

• Building and leading project teams: Effective team leadership is essential for achieving project goals.
• Collaborating with customers from requirements gathering to product acceptance: Ensures that customer needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Aligning program team to customer needs by establishing milestones, goals, and objectives: This helps in maintaining focus and direction.
• Managing development of project plans with a focus on achieving project goals and corporate initiatives: Critical for project planning and execution.
• Recognizing and managing project KPIs within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints: Ensures that projects stay on track and meet performance standards.
• Coordinating risk analysis and mitigation: Identifying and addressing potential risks is vital for project success.
• Managing resources and financials: Effective resource and financial management are key to project sustainability.
• Reporting project status, issues, and implemented solutions: Keeps stakeholders informed and engaged.
• Driving continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management: Promotes ongoing enhancement of project processes and outcomes.

• Ability to form and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve company and customer (internal or external) objectives.
• Strong verbal and written skills, to present ideas clearly and with the usage of an appropriate business style.
• Ability to effectively present information to management and/or customer personnel.
• Ability to respond in a timely fashion to common inquiries or complaints.
• Define, develop and implement strategies contribute to the overall company and group strategic direction.
• Demonstrate high performance orientation, detail orientation, market knowledge and sound judgment.
• Demonstrate ability to build and leverage partnerships, implement change and manage projects.

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree (mechanical engineering, biomedical, or similar preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in regulated industries (preferably in medical production).
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• PMP certification.
