Job Description
SUMMARY
The New Product Introduction (NPI) Quality Manager is responsible for leading a team of NPI Quality Engineers in driving continuous improvement and resource efficiency, and effectiveness within their team and respective assigned sites.

Establishes and maintains product and process quality control standards and procedures during new product introduction projects and Jabil Healthcare DR Site Quality projects. Manages, coordinates and ensures all quality and reliability deliveries including testing and regulatory compliance on all new product introduction projects. Supervises NPI Project Quality Leaders.
Makes good use of Quality resources and team members on relevant deliveries. Supervise Quality Engineers in the organizational structure. Provide support to Site Quality Manager as required.
Is the owner of the PLCM (Product Lifecycle management tool) at a site level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Is the Leader within the Quality organization in the development of new product projects for sub-assemblies and assemblies, disposables and HLA, representing the quality/reliability of the core team in tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide strategic follow-up to quality rules and objectives during the development of products and processes for sub-assemblies and assemblies, disposable and HLA.
- Estimates Quality resources requirements for the introduction of new products for sub-assemblies and assemblies,
- disposable and HLA.
- Ensure the proper implementation and compliance of validation master plans in the validation of new products for sub-assemblies and assemblies, disposable and HLA.
- Completes all training requirements according to the training matrix, quality system, training identified in the training needs program and attend to all training sessions where your participation is required.
- Leads, supervise and develop Quality Engineers responsible for the introduction of new sub-assemblies and assemblies, disposables and HLA products.
- Ensure appropriate use of advanced quality plan tools; example PLCM, for introduction of new sub-assemblies and assemblies, disposables and HLA products.
- Ensure appropriate use of risk analysis tools during implementation of new sub-assemblies and assemblies, disposables and HLA products.
- Ensure compliance with projects for the introduction of new products in accordance with the provisions of the Advanced Quality Planning procedure.
- Ensure compliance with the implementation of tasks on the PLCM and WINDCHILL platform.
- Ensure that corrective and preventive actions, NCMRs, and customer complaints are addressed in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with current FDA QSR Part 820, ISO 13485 regulatory standards.
- Ensure the harmonization and Implementation of the Quality agreement with the client is followed per Jabil DR procedures.
- Ensure a proper qualification process and new product to sustaining activities to the site.
- Serves as the lead of communication with upper management related to NPI implementation related to Quality activities.
- Support any non-recurring expense (NRE) initiative.
- Support the product quoting process, commissioning of systems and products of sub-assemblies and assemblies, disposables and HLA.
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Provide support to all Safety, Health and Environment (EHS) programs and initiatives in order to support our zero-accident culture.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or related areas.
- Master degree (preferably)
- English fluent as a second language
- Experience with ISO 13485:2016 and 21 CFR 820
- ASQ Certified (Preferably)
- Knowledge in Lean Six sigma (preferably certify Yellow Belt, Green Belt, etc.)
- CAPA Knowledge, problem solving and Root cause analysis.
- Minimum 8-10 years of working experience in the related field Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience in product or line transfers, new products implementation and validation (MVP, TMVs & PQs)
- Soft Skills: an enabling leader that can built trusting relations, decisive and resilient.
