ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Familiar with the basic use of CAD design tool.

. Good Design Knowledge of 2 Plates and 3 Plates Injection Mould.

. Should have Knowledge of Material Flow Analysis.

. Utilizing CAD Software to create detailed mold designs
• At the appropriate process phase gates, will create and enter a complete design package.
• Work concurrently with other Design Services departments, Business Unit Management, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality departments through the design phase of a program.
• Work to provide a design that not only meets the customer's criteria, but also provides high quality, cost effectiveness, and manufacturability.
• Provide technical support for all manufacturing builds including engineering prototypes, NPI & production releases.
• Use data collected in production in subsequent programs to ensure continuing improvement in designs.
• Stay abreast of the latest technology and techniques to provide designs that are competitive and cost effective.
• Follow the direction of Engineers, Sr. Designer, Lead Designers or the Design Manager.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
