JOB SUMMARY
The Industrial Engineer III is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing integrated production and service delivery systems. These systems ensure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control within the production site. The Industrial Engineer III will focus on profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the product and service lifecycle.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Leadership : Lead and implement projects aimed at eliminating waste using the standard Industrial Engineering processes, which may include:
- Complex Process Simulation
- Operations Research
- Business Model Cost Analysis
- Time Standard Verification : Verify time standards prepared by the Industrial Engineering team.
- Key Metric Reporting : Update and report key Industrial Engineering metrics for the assigned customer or area.
- Process Mapping : Drive key process mapping activities within the assigned customer or area.
- System Standardization : Drive the standardization of SAP and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) configurations.
- Project Quotes : Prepare quotes for proposed projects within the assigned customer or area.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) : Lead and drive process-related activities for New Product Introduction.
- Team Development : Coach, mentor, and train engineers within the Industrial Engineering team.
- Essential Duty Support : Support and/or maintain lower-level Industrial Engineering duties and responsibilities.
- Global Process Standardization : Ensure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in alignment with global, regional, and site-specific direction.
- Lean Support : Support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and ensuring data integrity to enable organizational process improvements.
- Compliance : Follow all procedures within the company's security policy.
- Other Duties : Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Requirements
- Key Qualifications :
- Comprehensive understanding and application of a wide range of industrial engineering tools, including work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, and operations research.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen.
- Proven track record in successful change management, continuous improvement implementation, and cost reduction programs.
- Strong communication skills (in both Croatian and English).
- Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
Education Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field or certification (such as Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) is a plus.
