Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Global HR Program Office Director to oversee large-scale, enterprise-wide HR initiatives that directly align with our Long-Term Plan (LTP) directive. This role will be responsible for managing and delivering complex HR programs and projects, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, large scale site activities such as staffing ramps, site closures, and greenfield sites. The role also entails partnering closely with HR Centers of Excellence (CoE), Regional HR leads, and the HR Leadership Team (HRLT) to ensure successful outcomes. The Global HR Program Office Director will lead the HR Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring the effective execution of HR initiatives across the global enterprise, while maintaining alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Program Oversight:
Lead and manage the HR Program Management Office (PMO) to drive the successful execution of global HR programs, projects, and initiatives that align with the company's Long-Term Plan (LTP) goals. - Collaboration with HR Leadership:
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (CoE), Regional HR leads, and the HR Leadership Team (HRLT) to ensure cross-functional alignment and execution of HR initiatives, while addressing regional and global needs. - Project and Portfolio Management:
Develop and implement a standardized approach to project and portfolio management, utilizing tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and other relevant platforms to ensure all initiatives are tracked, delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. - Program Framework Development:
Design and implement a robust PMO framework, methodologies, and best practices for managing complex HR projects. This includes defining project management processes, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), and creating comprehensive project plans. - Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior leadership, including the CHRO and HRLT, on the progress, risks, and successes of key HR initiatives and projects. Ensure stakeholders are well-informed throughout the lifecycle of HR programs. - Resource & Budget Management:
Oversee the resource allocation for HR initiatives, ensuring optimal use of internal and external resources. Manage and track project budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial guidelines. - Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement in the HR PMO practices, tools, and processes. Encourage the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency, visibility, and the impact of HR projects across the organization. - Risk Management:
Proactively identify and manage risks related to HR programs and projects. Implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and ensure timely project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Six Sigma) is highly preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR program management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing global HR initiatives. Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale HR transformation projects is essential. - Skills & Competencies:
- Proven expertise in project and portfolio management with deep knowledge of tools like Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and other project management systems.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR initiatives with broader organizational goals.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Expertise in managing budgets, resources, and timelines for complex projects.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day project execution.
- Other Requirements:
- Global mindset with experience working in a multinational and diverse environment.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Strong understanding of change management and how to guide teams through transformation.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% depending on project need
